Bill Bailey is Britain's most successful musical comedian, and years of touring internationally have established his prestigious reputation as one of the world's leading comic performers. His comedy is fiercely intellectual, playful, wide-ranging, surreal and uniquely musical.

“A treat for the funny bone, and for the ear.” The New York Times

In July 2011, Bailey will headline Sonisphere Festival Knebworth, described as “the UK’s premier metal festival” (The Guardian). He shares headline billing with Metallica, Slayer, Megadeath, Anthrax and Motorhead and marks the biggest ever outdoor comedy performance at a rock festival in the UK.

Bailey is a major television star in the U.K., appearing in numerous sitcoms and comedy talk shows. Bailey performed with Robin Williams for Prince Charles 60th Birthday Party Celebration in 2008 and among his many feature film credits are Saving Grace, Hot Fuzz and Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang. Bailey has performed to sold out audiences at London’s famous Wembley Arena and The 02 Arena and his one-man shows consistently sell out in London's West End. He's bringing the latest of these shows, the critically acclaimed Dandelion Mind, to New York City after first appearing in the Big Apple ten years ago in a critically acclaimed six-month run of Bewilderness.

Dandelion Mind was recently reviewed by the London Evening Standard: "Bailey cuts a world-beating swath all of his own. Never nasty, never mundane, he is prepared to treat his audience as intelligent beings. What other comedian would tell gags about Caravaggio or use the term cognitive dissonance? Absolute genius on so many levels."
