Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia caps off the fun of the Big Red Chair season with its double-bill adaptation of Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd’s bedtime classics, Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny.

The two beloved stories are brought to life with whimsical puppetry and original music. In Goodnight Moon, a young bunny bids goodnight to everything around him, from his toys and telephone to paintings of fairy-tale characters on the wall. In The Runaway Bunny, a little rabbit imagines all the different ways he could leave home, while his mother reassures she'll find him, no matter where he pretends to go.

Recommended for children of all ages.

This will be a Sign Language Interpreted performance.

The Big Red Chair Family Series is co-sponsored by NYU Family Care and made possible in part with generous support from: Con Edison, Joan Ganz Cooney, and L.Jay and Mary Ellen Oliva.
