Skirball Center for the Performing Arts - New York University

The Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were created in 1985 by the Off-Broadway League to recognize excellence Off-Broadway by honoring the invaluable contribution of artists to the theatre community.

Taran Killam, currently starring on Broadway in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Lortel Award-winning musical Hamilton, will host the 32nd Annual Lucille Lortel Awards.

Among the special honors to be presented include:

  • William Ivey Long to be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Lynn Nottage to be inducted onto the Playwrights’ Sidewalk
  • Harold Wolpert to receive the Edith Oliver Service to Off-Broadway Award
