Constantine Kitsopoulos makes his NYU Orchestras debut conducting the NYU Symphony.

Maestro Kitsopoulos has led such orchestras as the New York Pops, Philadelphia Orchestra, Colorado Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Houston Symphony, and San Francisco Symphony. He is currently the music director of the Queens Symphony and general director of the Chatham Opera, which he founded in 2005. This program includes the annual collaboration between the NYU Steinhardt Program in Scoring for Film and Multimedia and Tisch Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television Student Animation and Live-Action Films. The NYU Symphony will perform Joseph Twist's Concert Composition Competition-winning work, the winning scores from the 2012-2013 NYU Steinhardt Film Score Composition Competition, and Sergei Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5 in B-Flat Major, Op. 100.
