You are warmly invited to an evening concert featuring the uplifting music of composer and spiritual Master Sri Chinmoy. The concert will pay special tribute to the Sri Chinmoy’s global work for peace, begun when he came to New York from India in 1964.

The evening will offer a diverse selection of musical arrangements from Eastern and Western traditions, inundating the listener with peace, beauty and power.

Featured performers include:

The Sahadeva Ensemble:
The Sahadeva Ensemble brings together singers and musicians from many countries in a performance that blends Sri Chinmoy’s melodies and poetry into a soulful musical tribute, arranged and conducted by Sahadeva Torpy. An accomplished pianist, and a key member of the British group Ananda, Sahadeva has been arranging Sri Chinmoy’s music for many years. The ensamble regularly performs at Songs of the Soul concerts worldwide.

Temple Song Hearts:
Temple~Song~Hearts is an all female vocal and instrumental ensemble, featuring singers and musicians from across Europe. The group’s sound fuses classical and modern, Western and Eastern, in a musical expression that is at once contemplative and joyful.
