Music pioneers Television take to the NYU Skirball stage to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance.
“The most powerful and passionate rock to come out of anywhere.”The Village Voice
At the heart of the New York rock scene during the late 1970s, Television was known for their minimal use of studio techniques and unconventional instrumental choices. Dubbed as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone, the band’s debut record Marquee Moon was received with acclaim by music critics and audiences.
Marking their first US tour since 2007, Television’s guitarist Tom Verlaine, drummer Billy Ficca, bassist Fred Smith, and guitarist Jimmy Rip gear up for their premiere collaboration with the Joshua Light Show for a one-night only instrumental show and a not-to-be missed spectacular.
