Pop-Up Magazine was launched in 2009 as a new kind of magazine, which would exist for just one night, live on stage. Nothing published, nothing online. Just award-winning journalists, authors, filmmakers, radio personalities and photographers presenting a rapid-fire series of original stories, images, and ideas, in an evening that unfolds like a classic print magazine. After just four shows -- which sold out in minutes -- they have moved their home to the San Francisco Opera House.

Now, they're coming to New York, for the first time, to team up with ESPN The Magazine on The Live Issue -- a night of eclectic, original sports stories and ideas. It should not be missed.
