Award-winning Kenny Endo celebrates his 35th year of Japanese taiko drumming, touring with an all-star cast of musicians from Japan and the U.S. Endo is a leading force in contemporary taiko performance, synthesizing traditional Japanese music, Western percussion and influences from various world cultures. His program features the New York premiere of his newest work Gateway - 'Ma' vs Groove, other original works and traditional music. He is joined by Hitoshi Hamada (vibraphones), Kaoru Watanabe (shinobue and nohkan flutes), Shoko Matsumoto (koto, dance) and Michihiro Sato (Tsugaru shamisen).
