Bridging the gap between cartoon fun and theatrical greatness, actor Rick Miller manages to turn Macbeth into a hilarious romp with more than 50 characters from the legendary animated show in a spot-on series of impersonations. True Shakespeareans will marvel at the way humor is highlighted throughout the original script which remains about 85% Shakespeare. And those who come more for the laughs are sure to see Shakespeare in a whole new light as well as appreciate the irony in tragic Homer’s portrayal of the Thane of Cawdor.
Rick Miller of MacHomer and Bigger Than Jesus is a veritable tour-de-force in the international theater scene, having created, starred in and otherwise supported dozens of productions in Canada and abroad. He has also hosted ABC’s Just For Laughs, been named one of the Most Creative People Alive by Entertainment Weekly.
