In this 10th annual celebration, the Qi Shu Fang Peking Opera Company stages an unforgettable glimpse into ancient China featuring the legendary Monkey King’s battle with the Princess Iron Fan from The Journey to the West, one of China’s four celebrated epic tales written during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and selected scenes from other Peking Opera classics.
Experience a spectacular evening of mythical stories, glorious costumes and amazing martial arts with music played by a traditional Chinese orchestra and a performance spoken in Chinese with English subtitles.
