The Moth Mainstage | NYU Skirball Center

“And it’s ONE, TWO, THREE … What are we fighting FOR?”

On World Storytelling Day, join The Moth for an evening of unforgettable stories,  hosted by WNYC legend, Brian Lehrer.

Hear an ACLU lawyer, a preacher, a soldier, a journalist, and an aspiring DJ put their American Dreams under a microscope with that challenging question: What are we fighting for?

Each teller will look unflinchingly at the places we focus our hearts, energy, and hopes for the future – with tales of aspirations, grievances great and small, reconciliation, retribution – and, sometimes, forgiveness.

Dreams realized or deferred, discovered or rerouted – join us to examine and celebrate them all.
