Annie Dorsen
Annie Dorsen is a New York theater maker and a 2020 MacArthur Fellow.
For Fall 2020, NYU Skirball has commissioned 5 world-renowned performance makers – Kyle Abraham (US), Annie Dorsen (US), Florentina Holzinger (Austria), Faustin Linyekula (DR Congo), and Thomas Ostermeier (Germany) – to each design and teach one intensive Zoom masterclass.
Developed exclusively for the NYU community, and available to the public through this special offer, these classes are opportunities to learn from artistic change-makers, and to gain practical knowledge of the methods they use to create their own work. Designed for all levels of interest – absolutely no previous experience required – this course will take you behind the scenes with some of today’s leading theater makers.
All proceeds will support NYU’s COVID Emergency Fund for students in need.
Masterclasses are free for Skirball Members! Becoming an NYU Skirball Member is a meaningful way to support our mission of presenting cutting-edge international artists into the future. Learn more about Membership.
