Why you shouldn’t miss this!
Why you shouldn’t miss this!
Three comedians at the top of their game deliver a meta exploration of criticism and performance that is truly, outrageously funny.
What great theatre is all about: a performance that is wild, incredibly beautiful, bravely defiant, and most importantly, far from boring.
The first rule of making art is don’t respond to your critics. But in the U.S. premiere of Wild Bore, three masters of smart, political and outrageous comedy delve into the torrent of critical fury that has been aimed at baffling, misunderstood and downright awful works of art — including their own.
Read all about it in The Brooklyn Rail!

Wild Bore
Wild Bore is a collection of found texts adapted from the canon of theatrical critique. It is a radical reinterpretation of Facebook arguments, comment threads, pull quotes, nasty tweets, and most importantly, bad bad reviews.
Zoe Coombs Marr
Zoe Coombs Marr, Ursula Martinez, and Adrienne Truscott team up to play certain critics at their own game, and prove they too are not afraid to talk out of their arses.
Ursula Martinez
Ursula Martinez is an established international writer, performer and cult cabaret diva. She produces explosive live performance, for theatre, cabaret, and beyond.
Adrienne Truscott
Adrienne Truscott is a choreographer, circus acrobat, dancer, writer and comedian. She has been making genre-defying work in New York City and abroad for over 20 years, has performed at many international Festivals, and most recently a sold out run at Joe’s Pub. She is one half of the infamous Wau Wau Sisters and has worked with cult cabaret legends Kiki and Herb, Meow Meow, and John Cameron Mitchell (Shortbus).
