Richard Foreman, the trailblazing force behind avant-garde theater and founder of the Ontological-Hysteric Theater, was known as the “dean of Off-Off-Broadway.” His bold, surreal, and deeply thought-provoking work inspired generations of theater-makers and challenged audiences to see the stage in entirely new ways.

We invite you to join us in celebrating his life and legacy on Monday, September 8 at 4pm at NYU Skirball Center. Together, we will honor Richard through words, memories, and community.
