  • Do you have discounts for Seniors / Students (NYU and Non-NYU) / Alumni / Faculty?

    Yes to all of the above!

    NYU Students, NYU Alumni & NYU Faculty: Log in here to access your discounts.

    Rush Tickets: Access $20 rush tickets in person on the day of the performance from the time the box office opens (usually 12pm Tuesday-Saturday or 2 hours prior to the event) to the start of the show.

    All discounts are subject to availability. A $3 facility fee applies to all rush tickets. Rush tickets are not available for any event labelled “Skirball Access” or National Theatre Live screenings.

  • What are the box office hours?

    Regular Box Office Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 12pm-6pm. Summer and Holiday hours may vary. Click here for more info.

    Will-call tickets are generally available for pick up two hours prior to the start of show. Click here for more info.

  • When should I arrive?

    If you are picking up tickets from the box office please arrive early. The box office opens two hours prior to curtain. For most events, the lobby opens one hour prior to the performance so patrons may enjoy our Lobby Café. The theater generally opens thirty minutes prior to the performance. Will call tickets can be picked up in advance anytime during box office operating hours which are Tuesday through Saturday 12noon-6:00pm.

  • What happens if I’m late?

    Out of respect for the artists and audience, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house management.

  • Is there a coat check?

    Sorry, there is no coat check available.

  • Are refreshments available?

    Yes, refreshments are available at our Lobby Cafe in the Lobby Café, one hour before event time. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the theater.

  • Is elevator service available?

    Yes, elevator service is available from the box office lobby/main entrance to the restrooms and orchestra seating in the lower lobby.

  • Why can’t I find an event being hosted at NYU Skirball on the website?

    Check out tickets.nyu.edu for a complete listing of events being hosted at NYU Skirball.

  • Where can I find the most up to date information regarding NYU Skirball events?

    The most current event listings are located right here, on our website Calendar.

  • What facilities does NYU Skirball offer for people with disabilities?

    Accessible seat locations and restrooms are available to patrons who use mobility devices. Infrared Assistive Listening Devices are available free of charge at the Lobby Café in the lower level lobby. Photo ID is required as a security deposit. Our ALDs are Infrared Stethoset Headphones. Neckloops are available upon request and as our supply permits.

  • What is your child ticket policy?

    All children aged two and older are required to have a ticket for admission to events at NYU Skirball Center. Children under 2 without a ticket are required to sit on an adult’s lap. While the venue does not have booster seats for customers, customers are allowed to bring their own. There is plenty of stroller parking available in our lobbies.

  • May I take pictures or record inside NYU Skirball?

    Sound or video recording of any performance without the written permission of management is prohibited by law. Photos are allowed on handheld devices only when a performance is not in progress. Please also remember to turn off your cell phones or any electronic devices during performances.

  • Does NYU Skirball have a lost and found?

    Yes, the Skirball Center does have a lost and found. If you believe you have left an item in the theatre please contact our House Manager, Jenny Liao.

  • Is NYU Skirball available to rent?

    Yes, NYU Skirball is available as a rental. Please visit our Rental page for detailed information regarding booking.

  • Can I intern at NYU Skirball?

    Yes, NYU Skirball has a variety of internship opportunities available to college students. Please visit our Get Involved page for more information and to see what student staff positions may be available.

  • What subway trains are closest to NYU Skirball?

    The B, D, F and A, C, E all service West 4th Street and are the shortest walking distance to the center. Other trains within walking distance include N & R at 8th Street, 6 at Astor Place, 1 & 9 at Christopher Street and L, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, 6 at Union Square.   • Do you have a mailing list?

    Yes, the Skirball Center has a mailing list and an email listserve. To add your name to either or both, you may fill out this online form that will allow you to join our list.
