Choreographer luciana achugar’s works have become countercultural rituals of resistance by way of ostentatious pleasure, with much moaning and crawling. Her new piece “Brujx” is part of Marx Festival: On Your Marx, and its socialist theme is the oppression of the proletariat: whether the idea of dance as labor can be transcended through a kind of primal magic.
